Hi. Yes, I can confirm that I've been having the same problem. However, I have 2 separate BevelButtons with StaticText over each on the same window but only one is exhibiting the problem. Investigating further, I found that RB was not honouring the control order, i.e. the text was on top but was being drawn behind. A manual window re-size forces a re-draw and the text appears on top.
I've updated the report with my comments : http://support.realsoftware.com/feedback/viewreport.php?reportid=boyxumdi Regarding the suggestion to workaround this by drawing the caption into an picture and use it as the icon - I will give that a whirl. Additionally, I've found the BevelButtons with picture icons on Mac OS X are not using the supplied mask - anyone else see this? Regards, Narinder. -- ___________________________________________ | Narinder Chandi, | ToolBox Systems Limited, | Surrey, England, UK. | http://www.toolbox.uk.com |___________________________________________ | Consultancy * Development * Support |___________________________________________ > Subject: Re: BevelButton erases objects placed over it > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Date: Tue, 05 Sep 2006 14:45:13 +0000 > > I assume you need control of text color... Much better solution IMO. _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe or switch delivery mode: <http://www.realsoftware.com/support/listmanager/> Search the archives of this list here: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listarchives/lists.html>
