You can always throw some money at getting a plugin written if you
can't write it yourself.
BTW I think you guys are really kidding yourselves if you think Mars
is going to be able to make *that* much difference with optimisation
in a medium time-frame (no offence, Mars).
Optimisation is a guru area even for gurus.
For example, using the Intel compiler on C++ code we have seen a
speedup of 30% over Visual Studio.Net 2003.
From my experiences shipping cross-platform c++ for over a decade, I
can also tell you that the upper levels of optimisation are a
frequent source of bugs. RS will need a massively more convincing
regression test suite than they appear to have at present before they
are fit to tackle this.
