Good point, I didn't think about it.
2: while you select some text, if you drag out of the field, with
the mouse below the control, the selection goes until the end of
the text.
Is it because I don't support text clipping right now? If you are
dragging enlarge the selection, I think that is how most controls
behave.
3: the edit field's height is greater.

I just wrote about this in the other email. I am working on two
sizes and this one was the smaller one.
(I agree that these differences aren't significant).
I was going to try for Win32 but the download gets interrupted
before completion, every time. Could you not simply test for Mac
classic (where the double buffering is also not supported)?
I rezipped and upload the Windows version again. Unfortunately my
wife took my PC laptop on a business trip, so I am stuck with PowerPC
Macintosh computer. =) I also don't have a Mac OS 9 computer, and
running classic applications in OS X Classic implements some type of
Double-Buffering... no flickering at all.
