i seem to remember seeing a plugin years ago for calling asm from rb. i can't find it now, but i was hoping the heavyweights on the list might be able to come up with a means by which i could get a poor mans asm inlining from RB. I dont have the comp sci creds to fall back on, but i seem to remember the plugin would take a region of memory filled with machine code and mark it as executable, then allow you to call it as a method. is this something that could be done nowadays with declares?
