I think that is a reasonable request. It might not be easy for them
right now, but the more common this hardware setting will be and
the more apps that make use of it then the pressure will only
increase.
But this is an area that Plugin developers can research as well --
and take advantage of the fact that REALbasic does not currently
provide this support. Image effects especially could benefit from
multi-threaded algorithms since each channel can be spawned into its
own thread (for example, a blur or sharpen filter).
