Youre missing the point really, it isn't so much about speed boosts derived from Rb going to UB, rather than the lack of performance gain going from an old G4 to the latest all singing dancing intel Woodcrest model. Apple say their new intels should be around 2X faster than the old G5's and the G5s should be miles faster than the old G4 Powerbooks - given lots of factors - a faster memory bus for instance.
So I am just puzzled as to why my compiled RB app isnt showing a little more speed.
