After reading Joe's message, I downloaded the PPC-only version of the
IDE to run on my dual 2.3 GHz G5. So far, two days with no crashes.
Using the UB version, I'd get a couple of crashes an hour, mainly
when opening project items and compiling, but nothing I could
reliably reproduce.

FWIW I'm using the PPC version on my MBP and haven't seen any crashes.
