I think the general sentiment is that RB has been made aware of users feelings on all this before. Combine that with the fact they monitor this list far less than the good ole days - if you want to see these changes don't bother staging a written sit-in on the list, just head over to the website and file feature requests.

I disagree, since there are so many people response to this thread, it means something important, not the waste of time. If REALbasic is not a fit for serious business than tell me why VB has been used in every corporate America?

Isn't RS trying to get VB programmers to convert? I think RB is a better software than VB, and I hope it will in used by all corporate USA over VB.

However, before it gets there, it should be more than VB in order to satisfy the needs of programmers of all sorts. You might think this is waste of time now, but these might be the very valueable ideas than make RB a successful tool.

I'm sure RS people would like to hear our needs. Why don't you through in some good ideas w/ us.

Whilst I haven't been working with REALbasic hard enough recently to
determine how reliable it is for production applications, I will
agree with Craig that this thread is very boring. The same thread
comes up every six months with the same tired old requests that would
ultimately add nothing to the effectiveness of REALbasic to solve any
sort of problem. And I've written as much code in RB as _anybody_.

Daniel, Ronald et al- you're not suggesting anything that hasn't been
gone over 100x before in the last 6-7 years of REALbasic history.
We're basically venturing into syntactical religious territory, and
that's always a waste of time.

Please spare us!
