I'd like to be able to read/write to DBF -- but ideally the IV and later formats, including index support. Granted, reading is 10x more important, since I'd migrate data in most cases, but I do find that DBF is sort of a universal import/export for some tasks.

I have to admit, I still think most desktop databases are incomplete. If I had an unlimited budget for commercial use, I suppose that wouldn't matter to me. SQLite is probably "good enough" for most things, now.
