I want to create an app that accesses a remote mysql database for
authorization. Does anyone have any experience with hosted mysql
databases and accessing them remotely? I can communicate locally with
a mysql database easily, but I want to know if hosted databses are
accesible in the same manner, or do they require php or other scripts?
