There are ways to do that now BUT they are algorithm and application design issues as opposed to language constructs. There is a PreemptiveThread class (http://www.taylor-design.com/ PreemptiveThreadTDDemo.zip). Or write your algorithm to use async shells and pass data back and forth to achieve your goal.
