I've seen it when running an .exe from a network drive. In my case it was a .NET assembly rather than a Win32 .exe, but I don't know that it matters. Whether or not the dialog is presented may depend on which version of XP you're running (Home vs. Pro) and the security policies in force. -- Charles Calvert Celtic Wolf, Inc.
