Would the shell command "|sysctl -a hw" or |"sysctl -a machdep.cpu" |
provide the sort of info you're looking for? I don't if OS X uses
/proc/cpuinfo, like Linux, but if it does I imagine you could just read
from that. I also have no idea if there's an RB only way of doing this.
