What platform(s) are you developing for? My experience is with OSX,
and with that I've used a National Instruments USB based device with
RB using declares, and I also have the Activewire board, also USB,
for which there is a third party driver and support for RB available.
The NI is more robust, also more expensive and the declares take some
getting used to, the Activewire is cheaper, less featured, easier to
get into. Don't know enough about the others out there.
