I wonder if you need to have QuickTime installed on the Windows machine
in order for the IDE to convert a picture into the PICT format required
for it to work as an embedded picture on the Mac.

FWIW, I usually just keep my pictures external to the app, and load
them at runtime.  But I do understand that sometimes you want a
single-file app.
