Fair? Who said anything about fair? This is about finding the bottlenecks in
RB and working around them in an effort to become better coders.

As soon as we introduce regular expression-heavy searches, perl is going to
win as there is no way to emulate that kind of speed in RB. At least, that
is what the evidence is suggesting so far.
