Does anyone out there have experience with embedding pictures into RTF? I have successfully embedded binary PNG and JPEG pictures and this works great when importing into Word, but applications like TextEdit and Pages barf on the binary data. I want to import the data with the SDATA (hexadecimal format), but I have not had any luck yet making it work. Typical, after beating this problem to death for two days and scouring the internet for answers, I come up with most of the answers shortly after I send out the email. Go figure. I have solved the SDATA problem for macpict, pngblip, and jpegblip. So I can embed those format types properly.
