How much effort, time development would it take to make it?

I don't think it's THE most important stuff to change, but for a
"value
for money/time" difficult to beat.

Why should they put ANY effort into changing something that is correct
and standard behavior, to make it incorrect and nonstandard? Standards
are useful only to the extent that they're followed. Let's leave this
correct behavior alone, and focus on fixing things that are incorrect.

Not sure if this is correct behavior. Xcode opens without a new window because there are different project templates. CodeWarriror 10.x opens with the last projects saved, and Microsoft Word opens with a default untitled window, but as soon as you choose from the file menu a recent doc, the untitled doc is changed to the recent doc.

RB opens with an untitled doc, and if you open a recent project the untitled remains. Given that RB also defines different project templates it either should open like Xcode, or behave like Microsoft Word. Further, if you would want to start with an untitled ( a new) project, then it is not correct that RB is in fact assuming that it will be a desktop application.

And if RS wants to show off then I agree with Youri. Make it so...
