I could agree! I used a company with FREE BANDWIDTH .. and when I announce at MacUpdate and versionTracker... then my site was closed .. Why?? the CPU usage!! (It worked for some time... but when I put the UB-build on my site then...)

I would recommend that you read the fine print, unlimited does not mean unlimited use. My experiences with hosting companies that charge far less then $5.00 is that their service is not good, atleast not for me.

Read their fine print, if you use EXE's for your installs and you want your users to just download them from just site, companies like this BLOCK EXE's of any kind and you will have to compress the files as zips.

Take a look at Godaddy.com and see if you like their stuff. I have a few friends that host with them and they have had no issues.

G'Day!

I am thinking of setting up my own domain (instead of currently using yahoo which has started to become a problem on release day). I was thinking of using these guys:
http://www.hostdepartment.com/

They are offering (for 12 month signup) free domain, unlimited storage and bandwidth for $US3.95/month. Anyone had any good or bad experiences with them?
