We have both a .COM and .NET domain registered and in use. We have a Debian box doing the .NET domain in our office and the .COM is through Made2Own. Both ours and Made2Own have been very serviceable and when support is needed on either, it's a simple matter of getting it (we contract out our server maintenance). For connections, we connect to either email server via our ISP's DSL connection. Therein lies part of the problem. Because of the many spam filters in use now, and because we send through our own email servers rather than use our ISP's, a certain percentage of our email is rejected, bounced, or shows up in the users Junk inbox. We do use authentication to send via either server, but in some cases, that doesn't matter. Perhaps others have found a way around this. Like the spammers...:-) Mel _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe or switch delivery mode: <http://www.realsoftware.com/support/listmanager/> Search the archives of this list here: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listarchives/lists.html>
