I would expect 03.01.2007 and this also works this way in RB2006r4
ShortDate and AbbreviatedDate switched their meaning in RB2007. You
may use a date extension like this:
Function LongDate(Extends Date As Date) As String
#if RBVersion < 2007.01
Return Date.ShortDate
#else
Return Date.AbbreviatedDate
#endif
End Function
