I want to draw some text with a thermometer-type gauge behind it. So
I'll draw part of the text as white on black, the rest as black on
white.
It's not clear to me how to do this. I can't see anything in the
graphics control that lets me clip a drawing, nor to invert part of
an existing drawing.
Any advice?
