Draw 2 pictures.. one at 0% ie black text on white background, and
the other at 100%, white text on black.
Then draw picture two over the top of picture 1 to the point
desired.. ie, 40%

It's not clear to me how to do this. I can't see anything in the
graphics control that lets me clip a drawing, nor to invert part of
an existing drawing.
