The RB HTML Viewer and Safari do not render CSS in the same way.

An Example is available for download:

I tested your example but I can't see any difference from Safari and HTML Viewer. Checked, double checked and triple checked.
Perhaps because I'm using RB 2006 R4?
However if the difference is only with RB2007, it should be a RB problem, I think.

I just checked using REALbasic R4 and it is the same, using HTML Viewer there is no white border around the menu items, but using Safari (and some others) there is a white border. It is a very confusing/interest issue, If you saying myapp is using Safari (Carbon/Cocoa) WebKit, it render not in the same way as Safari. Other HTML Viewers that use an another engine do it! (FireFox, Camino and some others)

I found a "Cocoa Mini Browser" that also render the page in the wrong way. Just like the RB HTML Viewer, i also compile the Apple Example "SimpleCarbonWeb" and it also render the page wrong.
