No, he says 'desktop class applications', not 'desktop
applications'. They aren't synonymous.
He also says they used OS X because it had all the features *they*
needed for writing apps, not all the features developers needed.
I would expect we will eventually see an SDK for the phone, but not
until it's been out for a bit, and I doubt they'd announce it at a
consumer show like MW, more likely to see an announcement at WWDC.
