Hi Gang, I finally upgraded to RB 2007r1 and I really like it but I've hit a snag and I could not find much on this accept for one post in the forums which had no answer.
I have a small helper application which needs to write the Application Support/VendorApplication directory. The problem is it's owned by root:wheel. I can test to see if I can write to it, which I can't. So, I now wanted to know how I can write my xml file to this directory. I would really love it if I could test the dir if the user could write and if not the app would open a auth dialog to allow for elevation of rights.
