Point taken.  

However it is still the case that there are many many more "keywords" and
complexities in the RB framework itself when compared to the core language
keyword set, and it is to be expected that the framework will be expanded at
a much greater rate than the core language.

 So taking the above into account I think it would take a lot of new
keywords added to the core language to really start confusing things. And if
the end result is far fewer lines of my code, I would much rather learn
those few extra keywords if it keeps my code terse, elegant and more
readable. This is why I suggested the "IN" syntax a while back.

I also do hope that RS do not reject new features just because they might
put off "learners" or "hobbyists"- even if that was the original market for
RB. RB is as we know an extremely quick way of getting an app up and
running, I don't think even 20 new keywords would change that :)
