Just - to clarify, there is a single export menu item. Select the object or folder you want exported and invoke this menu item ( it will mention the name of the object you highlighted ). This makes this object appear as a file on your hard disk named accordingly. Drag this "external" file back into the project and it can be opened, edited and compiled as if it were part of the main project.
