Hi,
I've got an interesting problem to solve, maybe somebody can give me
some pointers...
I have an ASF video stream over HTTP from a network camera. Now I
want to capture/extract single frames from the video stream. Any
ideas how to do this in an RB app?
The camera has no ability to capture still images (next time I'll
read user reviews before buying such a gadget - I guess user comments
like "Avoid like the plague" would have made me think twice before
buying this thing). All it provides is this ASF stream.
VLC is able to open the ASF files if I "download" them with Safari;
and VLC can even directly receive the stream. But it doesn't appear
to be scriptable enough to do this.
Has anybody written RB code that can read an ASF stream? Would this
be possible/feasible in RB?
Thanks,
Frank+++
