CFStringRef works (at least with CFStrings, didn't try other data
types yet). The reason why it didn't work previously was that I
didn't supply the meta data attributes I wanted to be returned.
That's something you have to add to the query. Somehow I assumed
they'd all be returned by default but none were returned since I
didn't supply any.
Thanks to everyone who helped me during my first joust with declares
over the past couple of days!
