Hi Folks,
During the build and test of a desktop application that manages a
long running shell process that requires user input via the tty, the
shell reacts properly and the shelled process thinks that it is
running in an interactive shell. However, when the application is
built, the shell does not supply an appropriate tty attachment and
the shelled application thinks that it is running in the background.
This means that the completed app functions properly in the debugger,
but fails in the compiled version.

This appears to have started in 2006r4 as the app has worked properly
prior to our attempts at moving it to UB in 2006r4.
If anyone has a workaround for this, it would be greatly appreciated.
