Hi,
I am making release preparations of Micono SWF plugin for creating "
ShockWave Flash" movie (see, http://micono.hoops.ne.jp/rb/mswf/
mswf_e.html).
It cannot be downloaded yet, because is not completed. However,
read the
following conditions, then If you agree with following conditions,
I will
be able to send it by e-mail attachment (800Kb).
* SWF Hi-level API is completed mostly.
* From now on, the methods which may be changed will be contained.
* The manual is not contained (Refer to my sample project).
* Even if the trouble about the license of SWF arises about your
software
created using the plugin, I cannot take responsibility.
* The plugin is shareware.
I'm no sure what happened to it, but I distinctly remember playing
with it at one time and having a fair amount of success.
Anyone have a copy??
Someone seriously needs to start an RB graveyard. Valuable things
keep disappearing like Micono and Darkworks gear...

i would like to produce some educational "film clips"( ie mini
lessons). If these were to be used on web it would seem that Flash
is the best solution. However I would prefer not to have to leave
RealBasic behind and learn Flash.
Besides if I wanted to put all the clips together into an
educational product then Flash doesn't have quite the features I
want.
Note that at this stage I have very limited knowledge of Flash
except for the fact that it is becoming quite a web standard for
animation etc.
Is anybody doing any work with producing Flash movies from
RealBasic code. Obviously not all features of RB could be
converted to a Flash movie. I also wouldn't need to use all the
capabilities of Flash.
Am I 'barking up the wrong tree'?
Looking at problem from another direction - it would be good if
Flash movies could be incorporated into RB program (without use of
QuickTime). Is this possible? Has anyone had any success in this
area?.
Perhaps there might be a tool for producing Flash movies without
having to use Actionscript. These could then be incorporated into
a RealBasic program which is much better for doing such things as
maintaining student records etc
Any ideas or discussion would be most welcome.
Thanks
Karl
