Andrew,
It is probably possible through some heavy Declares. If you haven't
used them before, Declares are ways to "call" into libraries that were
not compiled with REALbasic. The trick is making sure that you can
declare into them.
Looking at this page:

It seems that you should be able to call into them using declares into
the Cocoa frameworks. Check out:

There are the ways to declare into Cocoa objects. I will say, it is
going to take some work. You might be better off building a REALbasic
plugin because it is going to be a lot of declares I imagine.
