We've been using the version control format with svn with good

shouldn't have been) changed.
We are using RB 2007r1, and I've just had a peak at one of the
files with a hex editor, and confirmed that all the line endings
appear to be Unix - i.e., hex 0A.
Our repositories are hosted by devguard.com, and we are able to do
accurate diffs with webSVN, as well as with smartSVN on the Mac and
TortoiseSVN on Windows. I'm not sure what might be different about
our configuration than yours, but it IS working for us.

That IS good to know that it's working for you.
It would be really nice to know what, if anything, needs to be done
to an svn configuration to make this just work, cross platform, out
of the box with as few tweaks as possible.
It may be something simple in svn or something that, if REAL made
some small change, would facilitate this "just working".
While I'm not using this (or 2007r1) daily I do like to keep up with
what's happening in this in case I get the opportunity to revisit an
old site that looked at RB around the 5.0 - 5.5 time frame for their
IT group.
I'd love to get it in their hands :)
