I was wondering how difficult it would be for RB to re-compile only those modules/windows/classes that were changed. Most of the time I will change a line or two of code and wait 30 seconds for my large project to recompile, then start all over.
C compilers like Xcode keep track of which source files were changed and only compile the new source. Is this asking too much? Surely RB could keep track of dependencies and new changes and be smarter at compiling. This would speed edit-build cycles at least 10-fold for larger projects. I'm sure this has been thought of, I just wonder why it's not implemented. Peter. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Peter K.
