Despite the inability to share external items, my own inability to  
trust the IDE when it saves is why I have moved totally over to using  
VCF. That way not only does Subversion let me see what actual changes  
are being saved (efficiently), I can dive into BBEdit and confirm  
things.

I agree, data-loss bugs and some of the IDE crashing behaviour  
combine to make RB still feel like an amateur product (note that  
"amateur" does not necessarily mean lacking in power - in this case  
it reflects poor prioritising of making your user feel safe).
