As a practical matter if it's not documented it does not exist...  we have 
alwasy been told not to use undocumented "features" as they are subject to 
chnage.
RB has a lot of things like that... features the engineers may have added on 
purpose for us to use but never make it into the documentation ... so they 
don't get used by most. 
Another class of such things historically has been the conustructors for 
built-in classes though that has been getting better. I don't know how many 
times I found something was an intended but undocumented fetaure by what an RS 
employee has said on list!
