That is the part that's difficult to follow logically - NO MacType  
should not match ANY MacType or None.  If we want ANY, we should be  
required to specify a wildcard pattern.

Now that I know, I can follow the pattern and it makes an odd sense.   
But, I am submitting a feature request that this default be changed.
