I know that normally Windows beeps to signal an unhandled event. But I have "return true" in the Window.KeyDown event. So why does it still beep at me every time I press most keyboard keys?
This is actually in two different apps; in one, there is nothing on the window but a canvas (that has AcceptFocus=False). In the other, there are several other controls (some popups and a read-only EditField), but I explicitly do a ClearFocus, and I can tell from the way the controls are drawn that none of them have the focus. In both cases, the event should therefore be going to Window.KeyDown, where I return true, which should indicate that I've handled it. Yet it still beeps when I press a letter or number key. It does not beep when I press arrow keys or modifier keys. Does anyone have any idea what's going wrong here, and how I can fix it?
