Does anyone know of a hack to make the icons for Windows applications
generated with RB 5.5.5 display correctly? Is it possible to replace the
displayed icon using the registry?

I've tried replacing the icons using Resource Tuner, and while it works, it
only allows replacing icons with icons of the same size and color depth. I
would like to be able to use 32 color icons instead of the 8 bit. Is there
a way to add the 32 bit icons to the compiled application?

Even being able to change the mask to an 8 bit mask would help tremendously.
I think RB 5.5.5 forces the 1-bit mask....looks really bad.

Thanks for any input.

RB5.5.5 and a mostly unused copy of 2006r2.
