Yes, there are a lot of third-party opportunities, however REALbasic
doesn't allow a very good way to "share" code without "sharing" the
actual source code. Even the "encrypted" support for source code has
been hacked into. What we need is the ability to compile our projects
as REALbasic plugins. Then, there would be a much easier distribution
model for third party developers. I contacted REAL Software about this,
and it would have to be a specific "paid" feature called "directed
engineering" and it could end up being quite pricey.

If there are a lot of people who would be willing to "pitch in" for this
feature, perhaps let me know how much you'd be willing to spend and I
can tally it up to see if it sparks interest with RS...?

It would probably be a good idea to email me off-list so that we don't
get into a price war. Not to mention, this might be in the off-topic
genre by now?
