Not true.  However we are less likely to voice our disdain and instead just
move to another tool or go outside and mow the lawn.  It's not like we
poured our time into something that HAS to work and then end up banging up
against a bug that keeps us from releasing our product.

Those most invested in having particular bugs fixed wisely join the beta
list so that they can grind their axe (i.e. advocate for their particular
needs).
