That's a good point and might be the case if the bug fix was to the runtime or the compiler itself. But I believe the bug fix was with the IDE and so it should have shown up directly in r2, and may have for some editfields. However those in the Properties panes still misbehave. I so hope they get fixed in r3 one way or the other.
