Ha! You're right that's exactly what they did. This is why a lot of companies send out press releases that can just be copied verbatim. Journalists trying to meet their copy deadlines cut corners too ;-)
RS marketing should consider beseeching the head of development to reconfigure how the release notes are generated. Putting the features first and the bug fixes last in the notes might keep this from happening again in the future.
