I had this problem with an application that I was writing on the Mac that involved some PICT images that I dragged into the project. The compiled Mac application had a reasonable size, but the .exe version weighed in at over 100 MB! I solved the problem by using GraphicConverter to convert the PICT files to .png images. The .exe version is now 3.6 MB.
Hope this helps, Tom Moore On May 3, 2007, at 7:23 PM, Giovanni wrote: > Are graphics in jpeg or other formats decompressed when you add the > files to a canvas, background? > WOW!!! > 11 Megs! > > Brad Rhine wrote: >> On May 3, 2007, at 9:22 PM, Giovanni wrote: >> >> >>> Is there a way to know which component is making my app 11 megs with >>> almost no code? >>> >> >> Any plugins? >> >> -- >> Brad Rhine >> [EMAIL PROTECTED] >> http://bradrhine.com >> Tangelo: Web Publishing...
