And, Linus was a student of Tannenbaum's way back then and rumor has it that he actually got a C in the class for his "Linux: project. I believe the argument was over monolithic kernels versus Andrew's idea that micro-kernels were the only way to do this moving forward. Hmm, and how many of us are running MINIX?
