forget it.
You will have to rewrite everything.
Christian, that seems to be a statement not very helpful. One of
the things you can do is to get the graphics object in the plugin,
and there are techniques that will allow getting the OS equivalent
of the graphics object. For each platform that technique is
different, but doable.
This can also be done in REALbasic now, with Graphics.Handle.
A REALpicture is another route one could exploit, and then the
graphics class can be extended or subclassed. With respect to CMYK,
what's so cool about CMYK, while having the RGBA Ken?
CMYK is the native output format for many devices, most commonly
printers. While CMYK can be easily converted into RGB for display on
an RGB device, the "K" value is lost in the process. So, when printing
something that has been converted to RGB, the printer has to guess how
much Black (K) ink to use instead of a combination of CMY inks.
There's also "rich black", a combination of all CMYK inks that yields
a blacker black.
