We are currently trying to get the exlivpix RealPix streaming utility from the SDK work on our SGI systems, so we could combine a live picture stream (could either be a "real" live signal from a beamer through its S-VHS/Composite Analog output or pre-scanned jpeg images on the disk) and a video stream together by using SMIL. Unfortunately, the exlivpix utility just dumps core when the IRMALiveRealPix::StartEncoder() method from the IRIX shared library is being called (server is 6.0.3.353). BTW: Has anyone got the exlivpix utility working on SGI IRIX 6.2?
