Subject: Single frame + audio in Real 5.0 Mac RV Encoder?

OK, Streamers...here's my dilemma. I think I'm missing something very
simple here (and I teach digital audio at MacWorld, so this is doubly
frustrating)

I want to add a simple logo to the Online Today Personal Netcast.
Currently, it is RealAudio 5.0 28.8 voice ONLY. This means when the
player pops up, the cut gets played in audio mode. I simply want the
OLTPN logo to open up when the player plays the audio - without
significantly increasing the file size. I figure, I'm missing something
really simple: when I've attempted to create a single frame movie in QT
for use in encoding, the movie is as huge as a multiple frame movie would
be.

File size is of primary concern, as the finished product is then sent to
users via a mailing list (please don't write and suggest that I simply
send out a link - the product's premise is that it is audio that is
e-mailed directly to the subscriber) on a daily basis. All I want to do
is add a bit of visual branding to what is already award-winning audio
production, and there has to be a way to do it that only adds the 10K or
so that the GIF or JPEG of the logo would add.

If hearing a sample would help you understand the situation, please send
e-mail to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> for an autoresponse that
includes a sample or visit <http://personalnetcast.com>.

So...is there an easy way to create a single frame movie that I can
reuse, over and over, that simply displays the OLT logo and plays the new
daily audio that I've created? G2 SMIL is not an option (the player isn't
stable enough on older Macs nor available on WebTV yet, nor are the SMIL
files in one complete file for e-mailing), so 5.0 is where I'm at for the
forseeable future.

I'm looking for a quick, direct, easy to follow method that I can
replicate every night as I create this piece, and if using Premiere or a
similar product is the way to go, then I'm willing to do that. I just
want a simple and direct approach that will allow me simply drop in the
new audio each night and encode the piece.

Thoughts?

David
