I use IE5 all the time as well, and have seen this happen regularily and 
predictably on at least seven different machines.

Yes.

Well, it happens when either: 
a) Window with embedded player is closed. 
b) Another copy of RealPlayer gets launched.
Possible workaround: This has worked fairly reliably on all the 
machines I've noticed this happening on - when you're on the page with the 
embedded browser, hit your back button and then close the window. No crash! 
Maybe that'll work for David.. ?
